“HOT NEW WAVES” – “BAJA BLAST”
Surfing is on the increase and the demand for surf pools and standing wave rides is growing daily, however the cost and area required for a “full blown” surf pool like Siam Park in Tenerife are not always available………….introducing the new “Baja Blast” range from Murphy’s Waves.
Named after the great waves in the Baja peninsula, these are specially designed surf generators that can be integrated as part of a standard pneumatic wave pool or lazy river design and being modular means that you can have as few or as many as your site & budget will allow for.
Where pneumatic wave pools tend to have a maximum wave height in the region of 1.2m, the Baja Blast will create surfing waves up to an incredible 2.2m in the area of the pool where the system has been installed, it also produces fantastic breakers on the beach that can be used for Boogie boarding and surf lessons.
We are already manufacturing the first Baja Blast system for Kyungu World in Korea, manufacture will be complete by December 2007, and commissioning on site is scheduled for May 2008.
