Splash Lagoon

“Splash Lagoon” is a new and innovative wave attraction from Murphys Waves that allows wave pools to be completely free-formed without the need to position the wave generator in the traditional location at the deep end of the pool, or have the beach directly opposite the wave generator. 

The Splash Lagoon system generates very high fun waves (1.2m – 1.8m) in a variety of patterns within a free-formed pool that can have several beaches if required!

Wave Play logoMurphy’s Waves Ltd has just installed their latest Toddler Wave Pool for Six Flags USA. The unique Toddler Wave Machine has been specially design to make waves in pool that is only 2ft deep and is suitable for small children up to the age of 8 years.

“Most water park owners struggle to find new and interesting attractions for their youngest visitors however our new Toddler Wave Pool is a cost effective solution to help keep young family members happy” said a spokesman. “We are all delighted with this latest attraction from Murphy’s Waves”

Double Barrel

Wave Play logoOur tests have validated all of our previous calculations and our system will produce the expected 20 surfing waves per minute! We are now accepting enquiries for this unique system.

The shape and direction of the wave formations can be accurately controlled via the main plc to give left & right breaks, centre peaks, point breaks and even family waves. Our "Double Barrel Surf" will open up a whole new market for economically priced surf pools with very high capacity and earning potential.

Double Barrel Surf is a single wave generator able to makes waves simultaneously in two bodies of water.

Wave frequency is 6 seconds which gives 20 surfing waves per minute
Typical width of the wave generator is 18 – 24m
Typical power is 300kw – 400kw
Wave height 1.8m – 2.0m

Stingray - A World First!

Stingray logoStingray the worlds first surfing / skim-boarding half pipe ride!!!

We are in the final stages of developing our new Stingray attraction by drawing on the experiences gained from our very successful BoardRider deep water surfing ride we have now developed this shallow water half pipe ride to compliment BoardRider.

For the first time ever it will be possible to ride up curved sidewalls at 90 degrees to the direction of the water flow!!!

For general waterpark use Stingray can function in a lower power setting to give a thrilling body boarding experience, or for more experienced groups or competitions it can be used with our specially designed skim boards allowing riders to stand up and carve high onto the curved side walls!!!
